Negotiation on “Me Too” Continuing
The Negotiation Team has met several times with the District for discussions about the “Me Too” clause in our contract. PFT members ratified their Tentative Agreement on March 11, therefore, PSEA will be entitled to .5% increase as of July 1, 2013, and another 1% increase as of January 1, 2014. In addition, teachers are receiving a 1.5% increase to their prime column for completing Teaching & Learning Coop professional learning credits (TLC) and also a one-time distribution from the OPEB (post-retirement) account. As PSEA believes in fairness and equity for all employee groups, we are talking with the District about accessing the OPEB account for PSEA members. Currently, we are waiting for a decision from the School Board.
