PSEA and District Begin Reopener Negotiations
On May 2, 2014, PSEA’s Negotiation Team and the District met for the first session of negotiations on reopened bargaining agreement articles. Commonly referred to as “reopeners,” each party selects up to 2 articles in addition to Wages and Health & Welfare to discuss. The District chose Evaluations and Summer and Recess Assignments; PSEA chose Vacations and Layoff and Reemployment. Sessions are scheduled throughout the months of May and June.
